The mission of Weaving Families Adoption Ministry is to provide adoption counseling, education, and comfort to families considering adoption, in the adoption process, or post-adoption. We seek to provide free and/or low cost resources and counseling for families as they pursue the call to adopt.
The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute recently released the Adoptive Parent Preparation Project Phase 1: Meeting the Mental Health and Developmental Needs of Adopted Children. We believe that the mission of Weaving Families is, in part, supported by this ground breaking research.
